Broad-leaved woodland, carr, marshes, fens and heathland.
Overwinters as an egg.
Feeds at Ivy flowers and overripe berries.
Easily separated from the other Sallow moths by its red/pink head and shoulders.Recorded in 65 (88%) of 74 10k Squares.
